Celtic midfielder Scott Brown is making headlines for the wrong reasons, again.

Speaking to Edinburgh News, Hearts defender Christophe Berra has launched a scathing attack on Celtic captain Scott Brown, accusing him of lacking class.
Brown skippered his side to a 2-1 Scottish Cup final win over the Jambos on Saturday and, in doing so, Celtic completed the historic treble Treble.
Seconds before full time, the 33-year-old found himself in a brief skirmish with opposition striker Uche Ikpeazu, before the Hoops midfielder celebrated directly in front of him when the whistle blew.
It isn’t the first time that the former Scotland captain has been accused of distasteful behaviour. In fact, it’s the second time in two months after he celebrated an Old Firm victory in front of Rangers fans in March.
Berra, who played alongside Brown for Scotland, says that his former international team-mate is getting a bit too cocky for his liking, claiming that if Liverpool and Manchester City players can respect one another then he has no excuse.
“Scott is a good player but he is using his dominance in the league a wee bit and there is a wee bit of cockiness,” he told Edinburgh News.
“Scott is getting a bad name for himself at some points. It is not classy and you don’t see that happening at the top level at clubs like Manchester City and Liverpool who dominate down there.
“They have a bit of class about them. He has had it all his own way for a long time and all credit to him, he is a good player and the team have done well, but sometimes you can be a bit more classy and a sportsman.”
Even some Celtic fans might agree with Berra’s cutting assessment. Yes, Brown is an iconic figure with the club at this point, but triumphalism like the ugly scene at Hampden has no place in football.
