Celtic won against Heart of Midlothian at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon.
As reported by The Scottish Sun and quoted by The Daily Record, Celtic manager Rodgers recently said that Berra and Kyle Lafferty are among the Hearts players who may not fit in a 3-4-3 system.
The former Liverpool and Swansea City manager made the comments in regard to Ian Cathro losing his job as the manager of Hearts.
The 32-year-old Scotland international defender has responded to the comments made by Rodgers.

“I’ve just seen it,” Berra told The Scottish Sun when asked about Rodgers’s comments about him. “It was tongue-in-cheek so we just get on with it.
“Brendan has done a great job with Celtic and has had a great career. He can say what he wants.
“Football is about opinions and we just get on it. That’s not going to bother me or Kyle, that’s just part and parcel of football.
“Was I surprised by it? To be fair, I just laughed at it. I don’t know Brendan personally but he’s obviously a well-educated man and always comes across in the press like he’s not really one for being controversial.
“But as least he knows who I am. Maybe what he said was disrespectful but I’m not going to lose sleep over it.”

Celtic kicked off their 2017-18 Scottish Premiership with a comfortable 4-1 victory over Hearts at Celtic Park on Saturday afternoon.
Leigh Griffiths scored twice for the Glasgow giants at Celtic Park, while Scott Sinclair and Callum McGregor bagged a goal apiece.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at Celtic Park on Saturday afternoon, hosts Celtic had 69% of the possession, took 17 shots of which seven were on target, and earned nine corners, according to BBC Sport.
