The Leeds United boss was speaking to the press on Friday.

Cameron Borthwick-Jackson is in Leeds United’s squad to face Newport County on Sunday, despite reports of interest from Reading, according to Whites head coach Thomas Christiansen.
The Daily Mail reported on Thursday that Reading are willing to offer Borthwick-Jackson – who has made just five appearances since signing on loan from Manchester United – a chance to play more regularly.
In the meantime, Leeds have been linked with moves for left-backs Sam McQueen [the Sun] and Laurens De Bock [HLN], of Southampton and Club Brugge respectively.
But when asked to comment on the speculation surrounding Borthwick-Jackson’s future, Christiansen told Radio Yorkshire on Friday: “The only thing that I will say is that he will be in the quad for the game against Newport – he will have the possibility to play.

“If everything goes well, he should play. This is the only thing that I have in my mind right now.”
One Leeds player who Christiansen does expect to leave, however, is summer signing Ouasim Buoy – a player the Dane admits to not knowing much about.
Buoy has returned early from a loan spell at Cultural Leonesa but he will not be sticking around long according to his boss.
Christiansen added: “It’s a player that I didn’t really know much about. It was my first contact with him today, he trained with the team.

“He’s a good player and we will see how everything will go, but the idea is to find a loan for him.”
Discussing the prospect of Buoy featuring for Leeds’ first team, the 44-year-old confirmed: “Right now, no.”
