Tottenham Hotspur could be eliminated from the Champions League tonight.

Christian Ziege is backing his old side Tottenham Hotspur to prevail against AS Monaco on Tuesday night.
Tottenham will be eliminated from this season’s Champions League if they fail to beat the Ligue 1 side and Bayer Leverkusen avoid defeat against CSKA Moscow in Group E’s other encounter.
Were the Londoners to lose or draw in the principality but remain in the competition, they would only be able to progress as runners-up, ensuring a tougher opponent – in theory – at the last-16 stage.
Monaco stunned Spurs 2-1 in their group opener at Wembley back in September, with Mauricio Pochettino’s side collecting a win and a draw since then.
Both of those results came on the road, however, and Ziege believes Tottenham will reverse their matchday 1 result at the Stade Louis II.
Ziege, a former defender, scored an impressive eight goals in 48 appearances for Tottenham, having moved to White Hart Lane from Liverpool in 2001.
The 44-year-old, who also played for Bayern Munich, AC Milan and Middlesbrough before Spurs, ended his career at Borussia Monchengladbach a year after leaving London.
