Former Tottenham Hotspur player has praised Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.

Tottenham Hotspur played fearless football and earned a 1-1 draw against the reigning European champions Real Madrid away from home at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday night in the Champions League.
Spurs took the lead in the 28th minute when Raphael Varane scored an own goal. Madrid didn’t have to wait long for the equaliser and it came before the half-time interval through Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored from the penalty spot.

Madrid created some very good chances in the second half but Spurs defended resolutely, and deservedly picked up a point.
The result (plus Borussia Dortmund’s 1-1 draw against Apoel) puts Spurs in a very good position to qualify for the knock out stages.
Former Spurs player Christian Ziege was following the game, and took to social networking site Twitter to express his reaction.

He said it was a “great” away performance from Spurs, and especially praised goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, saying that “Lloris [was] on fire”.
The French goalkeeper was superb during the entire game, and made some breath-taking saves, especially the one from Karim Benzema.
