Christian Purslow has suggested to Sky Sports that Liverpool should make a move for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti.

The former Liverpool managing director has suggested that the Reds should go for Verratti given the money they have got from the sale of Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona in the January transfer window.

“Go and buy Verratti out of Paris,” Purslow told Sky Sports while discussing the players that Liverpool should sign.
