Tottenham Hotspur brought down the curtain on their home campaign in the Premier League, and at White Hart Lane, with a 2-1 win against Manchester United.
Spurs will again finish trophyless this campaign, but have been in fantastic form this season yet again.
One player who has rediscovered his best form has been Danish playmaker Christian Eriksen.
He has been in fine form this term and that form has seen him named the club’s player of the season, for the second time in his Tottenham career.
It was an award that clearly meant a lot to Eriksen. He took to Instagram today with his trophy, thanking those who helped him claim the prize ahead of the likes of Dele Alli, Harry Kane and Toby Alderweireld:
The Danish star has recently seen himself linked with Barcelona but Tottenham fans will undoubtedly hope he is at the club again next season as they look to push for the Premier League title for the third season in a row.
Another top campaign for Eriksen might finally take them to the silverware they crave.
