Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Christian Eriksen has revealed to the club’s official website his delight over making his 100th Premier League appearance.

The 24-year-old joined Spurs in 2013 and has developed into one of their most influential players in recent seasons.

The Dane became a centurion in the Premier League on Saturday for Tottenham’s 1-0 win over Crystal Palace at White Hart Lane.

And Eriksen reveals that he was reflecting yesterday on how quick time has flown during his time in North London.

“I got a text about it yesterday and that was the first time I knew. I hadn’t really looked at it but it’s very special. It’s gone really, really quick,” he told the club’s website.

“Even yesterday I was sitting there thinking it’s my fourth season now so it’s been a good ride, it still is and I enjoy every moment.”

The final few words of Eriksen’s sentiments might interest Spurs fans. He is yet to sign a contract extension with the Lilywhites amid speculation that Juventus and Inter Milan (reported by The Daily Star) are among those considering a swoop for the diminutive schemer.

But perhaps he is not planning to leave if Eriksen is being truthful when he claims that he still enjoys every moment as a Tottenham player.

He was quite poor during the win over Palace, in which Victor Wanyama scored an 83rd-minute winner, but on the whole he is a fine player and one who Spurs would miss, should he leave.
