Dele Alli has made a remarkable rise since moving to Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
Christian Eriksen has told Tottenham Hotspur’s official site that everyone at White Hart Lane is enjoying playing alongside Dele Alli.
The 19-year-old England international has enjoyed a remarkable rise since moving to White Hart Lane from Milton Keynes Dons last summer.
Alli has become a key member of Mauricio Pochettino’s starting line up, and Eriksen says that everyone is appreciative of his talents.
“Everyone has seen his talent, his desire and willingness to play good football and he’s a really good lad,” Eriksen said.
“It’s really nice to see him doing so well. He’s a player who never stands still, is always in good condition, wants to go forward, wants to help back and does both. Everyone is enjoying playing with him.”
Alli has scored five times in 18 Premier League appearances for Spurs this season, and his performances have belied his tender years.
The attacking midfielder has shown great ability going forward, while he has also been disciplined and aggressive without possession.
Alli is now regarded as one of the finest young talents in the Premier League, and he looks likely to be part of the England squad which will travel to France for Euro 2016 in the summer.
Alli’s excellent form has already been rewarded by Tottenham – and he signed a new contract which will keep him at the club until 2021 yesterday.
