Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen has been linked away from the club this summer, as his future remains unclear.

The future of Tottenham Hotspur’s Christian Eriksen remains unclear, as his future in North London could potentially go down to the last day of the summer transfer window.
Spanish outlet El Desmarque previously claimed that La Liga giants Real Madrid are still keen on Eriksen’s services, but Madrid and Spurs remain far apart in his valuation.
Following Spurs’ Champions League final defeat in Madrid last month, Eriksen stated that he was ready for a new challenge seemingly away from the North London club, as reported by the Guardian.
But, as things stand, the new Premier League campaign is less than a month away and Eriksen is still a Tottenham player, so him staying at Spurs might just happen.
There’s no doubt that Eriksen should stay at the club because if he does then he would produce his best season in a Tottenham shirt in 2019/20.

Spurs are now making themselves heard in the summer transfer market, their standout purchase so far has been Tanguy Ndombele, who would no doubt bring the best out of Eriksen.
Ndombele can be that powerhouse, that player that can create that extra space for Eriksen further forward, which will only benefit his game even further.
Not only that, Tottenham are now into their new stadium, all those around the club have that extra bounce about themselves and there’s a feeling everyone now has an extra point to prove next season.
If Eriksen stays he would no doubt play his part in Pochettino and Co. making that much-needed next step in winning a trophy at the club because the signs so far are positive.
