The Tottenham Hotspur star puts distance between himself and Barcelona.
Speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live, Christian Erisken has distanced himself from speculation linking him with a move away from Tottenham Hotspur.
The Denmark international has been linked with a move to Barcelona as Transfer Market Web reported this month that the Spanish giants had identified the 25-year-old as an alternative to Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho, with a £59 million opening offer mooted.
But the Tottenham playmaker has described the speculation as “nothing” and believes that such rumours indicate that he is doing a good job for Spurs.

“It’s nothing. Ever since I’ve played football and been scouted the first few times I’ve been linked away, to every corner of the world,” he told BBC Radio 5 Live when asked about a link to Barcelona.
“They’re a great club of course and it means you’re doing a good thing (to get noticed) and it means you need to keep going until you see or hear something.
“Until then it’s just rumours so it’s nothing to comment about really.”
The former Ajax gem underlined his importance to Tottenham with an excellent performance in the 2-0 win at Newcastle United last week.
Mauricio Pochettino has a lot of stars at his disposal, but the Lilywhites manager arguably has nobody else who can pick a pass like Eriksen and Spurs fans shouldn’t be worried about losing him to Ernesto Valverde’s side this summer.
As Eriksen himself said, it’s just rumours.
