Tottenham Hotspur will meet Dutch giants Ajax in the semi-finals of the Champions League.

Tottenham Hotspur’s Christian Eriksen has brilliantly stated that it is going to be ‘fun’ reuniting with Ajax in the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Spurs booked their place in the last four on Wednesday night when they knocked Manchester City out of Europe in a dramatic fashion at the Etihad Stadium.
It means that the North London club will now meet Dutch giants Ajax in the semi-finals after they produced their own stunning performance against Juventus on Tuesday.
Former Ajax youth product, Eriksen spoke about facing his former side as he is clearly looking forward to locking horns with one of the best teams in the land.
“It will be really fun to go back,” Eriksen told beIN Sports. “It will be the semis of the Champions League, it’s what you want as a player, it’s what you want to achieve and now we are there.
“It will be a really fun game to play. Ajax have played some incredible games, but so do we. There are a lot of connections, there are a lot of old Ajax players at Tottenham and there are a lot of just Ajax players at Ajax.”

There is no doubt that Tottenham’s showdown with Ajax is going to be one of the most mouthwatering ties of the season, with a plethora of talent on show, not forgetting the highly-rated coaches walking the touchlines.
Before the Champions League started, many would have agreed that both clubs were huge underdogs to not just win the whole thing, but just to reach the last four.
But, both teams have showcased immense courage, talent and willingness to progress this far with Barcelona or Liverpool awaiting them in the final.
