The Crystal Palace striker and Everton target comments on his future.
Christian Benteke has told Sky Sports that he is happy at Crystal Palace, amid speculation linking him with a move to Everton.
Sky Sports reported last week that the former Liverpool striker is on Everton’s shortlist of names to replace Romelu Lukaku, who joined Manchester United for £75 million.

But the 26-year-old, who only joined Palace from the Reds last summer in a £27 million switch, insists that he is “very happy” with the London outfit.
“I’m very happy,” he said to Sky Sports. “I want to be part of the project of the manager and I’m looking forward for this new season.
“I want to perform and to score more goals and to really help the team to reach where they want to be.
“Since we came back for pre-season I didn’t really want to talk, but I want to be here.
“There’s the World Cup and that’s an important aspect of being with the club and you have to perform to be part of that group.”
Everton should test Benteke’s resolve with a big-money bid.
He claims that he is happy, but quite a lot of footballers would jump at the chance to be involved in what Ronald Koeman is doing at Goodison Park.
The Dutch manager has spent over £100 million on the likes of Jordan Pickford, Davy Klaassen and Michael Keane, while Wayne Rooney has also re-joined the Merseysiders.
And although Benteke claims to be happy at Palace, it is difficult to imagine that he wouldn’t be tempted by joining Everton.
