Christian Atsu joined Newcastle United on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea in the summer transfer window.

Newcastle United midfielder Christian Atsu has revealed to The Sunderland Echo the advice manager Rafael Benitez has given to him.
Atsu joined Championship club Newcastle on a season-long loan deal from Premier League giants Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old is starting to establish himself as a key player for the Magpies, who are aiming to finish in the top two of the Championship table this season.

The Ghana international has revealed the advice former Liverpool and Real Madrid boss Benitez has given to him.
“He (Benitez) has encouraged me and tells me to use my strongest point which is my pace and to not be afraid,” Atsu told The Sunderland Echo. “He believes in what I can do.”

Newcastle are going strong in the Championship at the moment and are one of the favourites to finish in the top two.
The Magpies are currently third in the league table with 22 points from 11 matches, just three points behind leaders Huddersfield Town.
Benitez’s side will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Brentford at St. James’ Park in the Championship.
Brentford are seventh in the standings at the moment with 18 points from 11 games, just two points behind Birmingham City, who are currently sixth and occupy the final playoff spot.
