For a relatively small nation, Norway are producing a number of outstanding talents, which makes for an exciting future.
The likes of Kristoffer Ajer, Sander Berge, Martin Odegaard and Erling Haaland have all emerged as great talents, and there could be more to come.
One exciting name emerging at Stromsgodset – the club that produced Odegaard – is Chrisander Bjørndalen Sørum, who is just 14 years of age.
United.no have spoken to father Kjetil Sørum about the teenager, and he claims that his son had a ‘successful’ trial with Leeds United, with the report carrying a photo of Sørum at the Leeds United Academy.
Manchester United then wanted to look at the teenager, but the global pandemic delayed his trial, whilst Brexit rules mean a deal for the 14-year-old is prohibited.
English clubs cannot sign foreign players under the age of 18 under post-Brexit regulations, meaning Leeds and United have years to wait if they want to sign Sørum.

It’s noted that both Chrisander and Kjetil support Manchester United, making them favourites to sign him, whilst agent Atta Aneke has ties with United having represented Odion Ighalo.
Leeds were seemingly plotting their move for striker Sørum, but old rivals United now appear to be swooping in for a deal that may not even take place until Sørum turns 18 in 2025.
