Could Leeds United head coach Garry Monk transform Chris Wood like Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has affected Harry Kane?

Harry Kane is one of the best strikers in the Premier League and is a key figure in the current Tottenham Hotspur team. Kane has progressed brilliantly under manager Mauricio Pochettino over the past two-and-a-half seasons.
The England international striker has scored 17 goals in 21 Premier League appearances for Spurs so far this season.
During the 2015-16 campaign, the 23-year-old scored 25 goals in 38 league matches, while in 2014-15 he found the net 21 times in 34 league fixtures.
Tottenham manager Pochettino has had a massive impact on Kane’s progress and development, and Leeds United striker Chris Wood has suggested that Garry Monk could have a similar effect on him.
Wood is playing superbly for Leeds at the moment. The New Zealand international striker has scored 20 goals in the Championship for the Whites so far this season.
The 25-year-old former West Bromwich Albion and Leicester City striker has suggested that Monk, who was appointed the Leeds head coach in the summer of 2016, can make him the Kane of Elland Road.
“I’d like to think that,” Wood told The Sun when asked if Monk could have a similar effect to how Pochettino has influenced Kane’s career.
“It’s one of the key components to why the team and I are playing well — having that belief from the manager and from the team as well. It gives you an air of confidence.”
