Chris Wood has joined Burnley from Leeds United in the summer transfer window.
Chris Wood has taken to social networking site Twitter to send a message to Leeds United after joining Burnley.
The New Zealand international striker has moved to Premier League club Burnley from Championship outfit Leeds in the summer transfer window.
According to BBC Sport, the Clarets had to pay the West Yorkshire club a transfer fee of about £15 million in order to secure the services of the 25-year-old striker.

Wood has taken to Twitter to send a message regarding his departure, stating that although Leeds wanted him to stay and were discussing a new deal, he decided to leave for Burnley due to the chance of playing in the Premier League.

Wood scored 27 goals and provided four assists in 41 Championship starts for Leeds last season, and scored 13 goals and provided four assists in 33 league starts for the Whites during the 2015-16 campaign.
“For someone like Wood, he (played) in the Championship last year, showed his quality, he is seeing a chance to play in the Premier League and I don’t blame the lad for wanting to take it,” said Murphy on the Jim White show on talkSPORT on Monday morning (broadcast from 10am, August 21, 2017).
