Chris Wood has established himself as a talisman for Leeds United this season, and has unsurprisingly been linked with a move away.

Chris Wood has seemingly dropped a hint to BBC Radio Leeds regarding his Leeds United future by suggesting that he has unfinished business at Elland Road following their extremely promising season in the Championship.
Wood has enjoyed a sensational campaign in front of goal, with his final day penalty against Wigan taking his league tally to 27 – the most in the second tier this term, four clear of his closest rivals – and his total in all competitions to 30 goals.
Unsurprisingly therefore, the New Zealander has been linked with a move to the Premier League – CalcioMercato suggested that five top flight teams – and some Whites fans may have feared that Garry Monk’s men falling out of the top six at practically the final hurdle would have made it more difficult for Leeds to hold onto their star striker.
However, Wood has suggested that his ambitions have not changed, despite the recent disappointment.
“I said when I signed that this is a huge club, and I wanted to take them up,” he told BBC Radio Leeds when asked how much he wanted to be at the club.
“I was hopeful that I could have done that this year but the foundations are in place. I’m hopeful that’s what we’ll do.”
With a number of players with their futures up in the air, Wood’s apparent desire to stick around and help Leeds find their way into the top flight will undoubtedly provide a major boost.
It certainly suggests that he still sees enough potential in the Yorkshire side to believe that he does not need to move away and can instead realise his ambitions at Elland Road.
