Burnley and Leeds United will face each other at Turf Moor in the EFL Cup this evening.

Burnley striker Chris Wood has praised the Leeds United fans, as quoted by The Lancashire Telegraph.
Wood was on the books of Leeds for two years before making the move to Premier League club Burnley in the summer transfer window.
The New Zealand international striker is set to feature against his former club this evening when the two teams face each other in the EFL Cup at Turf Moor.
Ahead of the game, the 25-year-old has praised the Leeds supporters for being good to him last season.
The former Leicester City and West Bromwich Albion striker, though, has not forgotten that he was booed by the Whites’ supporters during the 2015-16 campaign.

“The fans last year were brilliant to me and they have a great bunch of fans, it will be nice play them and see them, they will bring 5,000 I am sure, that is what they do,” Wood told The Lancashire Telegraph.
“I remember my first season at Leeds I was booed for three or four months of the season, I had to overcome that,” added Wood.
“I know people weren’t happy with me for some reason even though I was the top scorer and scored the most goals in a season in the last three years at Leeds.
“It is just one of those things, some people take a liking to you, some don’t, it is just people’s opinion at the end of the day.”

Wood scored 13 goals and provided four assists in 33 Championship starts for Leeds during the 2015-16 season.
During the 2016-17 campaign, the striker scored 27 goals and provided four assists in 41 league starts for the Whites.
So far this season, Wood has scored one two goals in two Premier League starts for Burnley.
