Aston Villa and Sheffield United will lock horns in the Premier League next season.

Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder has claimed that Aston Villa are a ‘top six’ club in the Premier League after they earned promotion on Monday.
Dean Smith guided Villa to the promised land when his team beat Derby County 2-1 at Wembley to make a return after three years.
Villa will now join the Blades in the Premier League after they earned promotion via the automatic places by finishing as runners-up behind the champions of the Championship Norwich City.
Speaking to Sky Sports Football (27/05/2019 at 5:30 pm), Wilder was in awe of the size of Villa and backed them to prove their worth now they are promoted.
“I think historically, they are a top-six club in the Premier League with everything they have got,” Wilder told Sky Sports. “The history, the fanbase and the stadium. And if you add that to the financial position they are now in.
“They will want to establish themselves [at first], but there’s no reason why they can’t kick on and be a Premier League club in years to come.”

Villa’s up and coming summer transfer plans, what they decide to do and not do will have a big bearing on next season.
There is no doubt that the Villa Park supporters will want to see a number of their loan players signed up on a permanent basis.
One of them, Anwar El Ghazi opened the scoring at Wembley as he produced a stunning display on the day, along with second-half goalscorer John McGinn.
Bournemouth loanee Tyrone Mings also stood out at the heart of the club’s defence. He has made a big impact on Villa since joining them in January.
