Baldock looks set to stay at Sheffield United despite his recent links to Celtic.

The Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder has confirmed that the Celtic-linked right-back George Baldock did attract interest in the summer transfer window.
The Daily Record reported that Celtic failed with at least one £3 million offer for Baldock.
But the Bhoys’ chances were effectively ended when the 26-year-old signed a new Sheffield United contract earlier this week.
Baldock was a key member of the Blades side promoted as Championship runners-up last season.
But according to Wilder, his best perfomance in a red-and-white shirt came against Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday.
Asked how pleased he was with Baldock’s decision to commit to Bramall Lane until June 2022, Wilder told BBC Radio Sheffield: “Yeah, delighted.
“We spoke to George in the summer. There was a little bit of interest from a couple of clubs. We looked at his contract as well and it needed improving.
“He came to us obviously from MK Dons when were in the Championship and has grown with us. I thought his performance on Sunday was outstanding.

“He gives us energy, he gives us drive, he gives us enthusiasm.
“I thought, pound for pound, that was his best game for the football club, in terms of the challenges that were in front of him, obviously playing against (Wilfried) Zaha, (Christian) Benteke, the way they overloaded the wide areas.
“And we’re delighted that George has committed his future to the football club.”
Celtic have already added one new right-back this summer, in the shape of Hatem Abd Elhamed, but could still look to strengthen their options, which have been depleted by the departures of Mikael Lustig, Cristian Gamboa and Jeremy Toljan since the end of last season.
