Chris Waddle says that Tottenham Hotspur need to sign a player like Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez in the summer transfer window.

Chris Waddle has suggested on social networking site Twitter that Tottenham Hotspur need to sign a player like Leicester City star Riyad Mahrez.
The former Newcastle United and Tottenham star made the suggestion following Spurs’ 1-0 defeat to West Ham United away from home at the London Stadium.
The loss in the London derby on Friday evening means that Tottenham have failed to close the gap on leaders Chelsea.

Chelsea are four points clear at the top of the league table, and will extend it to seven with victory over relegation candidates Middlesbrough at Stamford Bridge on Monday evening.
Waddle has suggested on Twitter that Tottenham need to sign a player like Mahrez. The 26-year-old Leicester winger has scored six goals and created 42 chances in 32 Premier League matches for the Foxes so far this season.
While Waddle does have a point, Tottenham do have a tricky player like Mahrez in Erik Lamela. The 25-year-old Argentina international, who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder, is injured at the moment and has been able to make only nine appearances in the Premier League this season.
