Tottenham Hotspur lost to Liverpool at the Wembley Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday.

Liverpool got the better of Tottenham 2-1 away from home at the Wembley Stadium in London in the Premier League.
Vorm was in goal for Spurs instead of the regular first-choice goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, and the 34-year-old Dutchman’s performance was not great.
Former Tottenham star Waddle was following the match, and he has criticised the role of the Netherlands international in Liverpool’s opening goal which was scored by Georginio Wijnaldum with a header.
Waddle told BBC Sport (13:12): “You wouldn’t think a Liverpool goal would come from a set-piece!
“Vorm’s punch clear was not good enough, terrible, and he had to get back up and try to claw the return header out. But he just couldn’t get there.”

Disappointing performance
Liverpool were the better side against Tottenham, who will be hugely frustrated with their performance this afternoon.
Vorm could have done better for the Reds’ first goal, and the former Swansea City star – who has been on the books of Spurs since 2014 – will be disappointed that he failed to make a major impact during a rare start.
The defeat to Liverpool has dented Tottenham’s chances of winning the Premier League title this season.
