Tottenham Hotspur will be preparing for their Champions League tie against Ajax on Tuesday night.

Chris Waddle has admitted that he feels sorry for Tottenham Hotspur striker Vincent Janssen as he urged his teammates to ‘get behind him’.
The 24-year-old has struggled to prove his worth for Mauricio Pochettino’s side since moving to North London from Dutch side AZ Alkmaar in 2016.
On Saturday, he came on as a substitute during his sides 1-0 home defeat to rivals West Ham United and with Harry Kane out injured he may still be involved in the first team set up.
Speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live (27/04/2019 at 2:20 pm), former England playmaker Waddle urged those around Janssen to be more supportive of him.
“I feel sorry for Janssen because every time he goes to strike the ball they all anticipate he’s going to miss,” Waddle told BBC Radio 5 Live.
“As soon as he miss kicks it [like he did against West Ham], it’s like ‘Oh, it’s Janssen’. I feel sorry for him. I think they need to get behind him. He’s still a young player.”

Janssen has only scored six goals in 41 appearances in all competitions for Tottenham [transfermarkt] during the three years he has been at the club.
On Tuesday night, Spurs host Ajax in the first leg of the semi-final of their Champions League tie and Janssen could potentially play a part with Kane on the sidelines and Heung-Min Son suspended.
It was in Holland where Janssen really showcased his talent and it would be a bit ironic if he did end up scoring against a Dutch team if he is given a chance by Pochettino.
