Glasgow Rangers manager Steven Gerrard reportedly wants Liverpool’s Dominic Solanke at Ibrox in January.

Rangers manager Gerrard wants to sign Solanke from Liverpool next month, according to The Scottish Sun.
The 21-year-old striker is struggling for playing time at the Reds at the moment, while Rangers need a replacement for Umar Sadiq, who has gone back to AS Roma after his loan spell at Ibrox was cut short.
Former Celtic striker Sutton has suggested that Brendan Rodgers’s side could be on the backfoot should Rangers be able to sign Solanke.
Sutton wrote in The Daily Record: “If Rangers find the cash to bring in someone like Dominic Solanke and Celtic dither again, they will pay the ultimate price.”

Competition
Celtic have the best squad in Scotland, but Rangers are very much in the Scottish Premiership title race this season and could well win the championship.
Rangers signing Solanke will make them stronger than they are at the moment, and that will be a worry for Celtic, especially as Leigh Griffiths is not in action at the moment and the Hoops could not sign a replacement for Moussa Dembele in the summer transfer window.
