Chris Sutton said on BT Sport 1 on Friday evening (August 26, 2016) that Celtic are favourites to win against Rangers next month.
The former Celtic striker made the prediction following the Scottish Premiership game between Kilmarnock and Rangers at Rugby Park on Friday evening, which was broadcast live on BT Sport 1.

Sutton was covering the match for BT Sport 1, and after full time, he suggested that Rangers will lose to Old Firm rivals away from home at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership after the international break.

“Yes,” said Sutton when asked if Celtic are favourites against Rangers.
When asked why, the former Celtic striker replied: “Because Rangers’ centre-halves are horrendous.”

Celtic will head into the Scottish Premiership game against Rangers after the international break as favourites. Brendan Rodgers’s side are in better form and also have a better team.
Rangers’ start to the 2016-17 Scottish Premiership campaign has not been great, but Mark Warburton’s side’s chances of winning against the Bhoys in Glasgow cannot be written off just yet.
Celtic have also progressed to the group stage of the Champions League this season.
