Celtic drew 1-1 with Borussia Monchengladbach this evening.
Pundit Chris Sutton has taken to Twitter after his former club Celtic picked up a 1-1 draw away at Borussia Monchengladbach in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.
Two weeks ago, Celtic had been beaten 2-0 at home by Gladbach, putting a major dent in their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League knockout rounds.

Tonight, the Bhoys travelled to Germany for the reverse fixture, and really had to win to stand any hope of a top two finish in Group C, though avoiding defeat would keep their hopes of third place and subsequent qualification for the Europa League alive.
Lars Stindl – who scored at Celtic Park a fortnight ago – grabbed another goal against Celtic to put Gladbach in front on 32 minutes, but Brendan Rodgers’ men remained a threat.
Striker Moussa Dembele was fouled inside the area by defender Julian Korb, resulting in a red card for the defender and a penalty for Celtic, which Dembele stepped up to score, showing great nerve having missed a penalty against Barcelona earlier in the competition.

Celtic pushed for a winner and could have snatched all three points through Callum McGregor, but settled for a point to leave them bottom of Group C with just two points to their name, but only two points behind third placed Gladbach.
Qualification for the knockout stages looks all but impossible for Celtic as they’re five points behind Manchester City with just two games to go, but Rodgers will really hope to catch Gladbach and claim third place.
Chris Sutton
After the final whistle, pundit and former Celtic striker Chris Sutton took to Twitter to offer his instant reaction to the draw, praising a ‘great response’ from the Bhoys having gone behind in Germany.
Sutton added that Celtic are just ‘one or two players short’ of really being able to compete in the Champions League, but still hailed them for going toe-to-toe with one of the Bundesliga’s top clubs.
