Leeds United are keen on signing John McGinn.

Leeds United are keen on a move for Hibernian midfielder John McGinn, report The Sun.
McGinn is an exciting talent although as he is untested outside Scotland, fans would be forgiven for being sceptical about him.
Pundit Chris Sutton is a big fan, and comments he made a couple of months back should encourage Leeds fans they would be buying a top player.

Sutton urged Celtic to buy McGinn, comparing him to their club captain Scott Brown.
He raved in the Daily Record: “No one in the Scottish game right now has the attitude, power, application and authority to go with the ability Brown possesses. But McGinn is the closest thing to it.
“There are going to be clubs in England keeping an eye on him because at 23 there is so much more untapped potential in there and another 10 years at the top level open to the player.
“(Neil) Lennon has mentioned £5 million. In this current climate that’s a snip.”

Leeds are hoping to sign McGinn for just £2.5 million, and are hopeful they can do a deal below his asking price as he has just one year remaining on his current contract.
Scott Brown is a cult hero and club legend at Celtic and the sort of player Leeds are crying out for in their midfield.
McGinn’s industrious nature would be admired by Leeds fans and he could form a solid partnership with Adam Forshaw.
