The United boss heads into this weekend’s fixture off the back of a win over Burnley, picking up his first three points of the season.

Chris Sutton shares thoughts on Bryan Mbeumo ahead of Man Utd vs Man City
Bryan Mbeumo has made a strong start to life at Manchester United following his move from Brentford this summer, quickly becoming a valuable asset for the Red Devils.
The 26-year-old forward has settled in well under Ruben Amorim, bringing energy and creativity to United’s attack right from the off.
In his BBC Sport column, Chris Sutton highlighted the difference Mbeumo could make in the derby, suggesting he’s got what it takes to cause problems for City’s defence.
Sutton went on to say that if United focus on counter-attacking, the Cameroon international could become a real nuisance for Guardiola’s backline.
“I can see Bryan Mbeumo hurting City, with United counter-attacking and him being a thorn in their backline chasing balls in behind,” Sutton said.
“I am also not as convinced by City if James Trafford keeps his place in goal.”
Ruben Amorim could use Bryan Mbeumo as his best chance to expose City’s form and pick up another big result at the Etihad
Mbeumo is expected to join Benjamin Sesko in attack, with the summer signing still waiting for his first Premier League start since arriving at Old Trafford.
There’s also a possibility Bruno Fernandes could move out of midfield and take up a more advanced role on the left, filling in for Cunha.
Mbeumo has played in all four matches across all competitions this season and has already found the net twice.
