Chris Sutton says Celtic’s win over Anderlecht was dramatically different to their victory against Rangers.

Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton has praised the club’s win over Anderlecht – while also taking a dig at their rivals Rangers.
Celtic beat Anderlecht 3-0 away from home in the Champions League last night, days after a 2-0 victory at Ibrox.
Sutton, speaking to BT Sport after the victory, said the two matches were not comparable, labelling Rangers as weak opposition.

Sutton said: “They are completely different games in terms of quality of opposition.
“One was a foregone conclusion. One was a test.”
Celtic passed their test against Anderlecht with flying colours, turning a 1-0 half-time lead into a convincing three goal victory.
They lost their opening group game 5-0 against Paris Saint-Germain, and a loss against Anderlecht would have left Celtic fearing they would finish bottom of the group once again.
Now they are well positioned to finish at least in a Europa League spot, and have their sights set on springing a surprise against Bayern Munich in their next Champions League group matches, and even launching a bid at making the knockout phase.
