The Glasgow giants have picked up 106 points from 38 matches, as many as 30 points clear of second-placed Aberdeen.
Celtic have been head and shoulders above the rest of the teams in Scotland and have played the best football in the Scottish Premiership.
Former Celtic striker Sutton has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the Hoops’ feat, summing up their achievement in one word – “incredible.”
“Incredible” is also how Des McKeown, former Queen of the South and Partick Thistle player, has described Celtic’s achievement.
Celtic, who have also won the Scottish League Cup this season, will take on Aberdeen in the final of the Scottish Cup on Saturday afternoon.
