Chris Sutton has suggested in The Daily Mail that Wolverhampton Wanderers will win against Swansea City at home on Saturday afternoon.

Championship club Wolves will take on Premier League side Swansea at the Molineux Stadium in the third round of the FA Cup in a few hours’ time.

The Wanderers are going strong in the Championship at the moment and are playing some wonderful football.

Nuno’s side look set to win the Championship title this season and win automatic promotion to the Premier League at the end of the 2018-19 campaign.

Wolves will be confident of winning against Swansea, who are struggling for survival in the Premier League at the moment.

The Swans are not exactly in great form at the moment, and playing away from home is also going to be a disadvantage.

Former Chelsea and Celtic striker Sutton has suggested that Wolves will get the better of Welsh club Swansea at home in the third round of the FA Cup this weekend.

Sutton wrote in The Daily Mail: “It would be a shock if Swansea win. With Wolves 12 points clear at the top of the Championship, their fans will hope Nuno Espirito Santo takes the FA Cup seriously.

“Leo Bonatini is in fine form with 12 league goals and, with Carlos Carvalhal planning changes for Swansea, Wolves could blow them away.”

Meanwhile, Derby County striker Darren Bent has backed Wolves to get promoted to the Premier League at the end of the season, and said on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Friday morning (08:41am, January 5, 2018): “We are still chasing Wolves. I personally think that Wolves will probably go up because they play the best football I have seen all season.”
