Celtic should sign Aberdeen’s Scott McKenna, says Chris Sutton.

The former Celtic striker, who now works as a pundit for BBC Sport and BT Sport, believes that McKenna will be a very good signing for the Hoops.
Sutton has outlined the attributes of the 22-year-old Scotland international, and has explained why the youngster will be a success at Celtic.
Sutton wrote in The Daily Record: “And while Aberdeen fans may not thank me for it, Celtic should buy the best centre-back in the country this season in Scott McKenna.
“He may not be a ball-playing defender but the good thing is he knows it and keeps it simple. Ask the 22-year-old to defend and do the basics and he does it better than anyone.
“If you want someone who will head, run, put the ball in row Z occasionally when it’s required coupled with sheer guts, will to win and reliability then McKenna is your man.”

Good signing for Celtic?
McKenna is one of the best young defenders in the Scottish Premiership and is an important player in the Aberdeen team.
Celtic could do with a promising and talented young defender, and a move for the youngster does make sense.
The Glasgow giants, though, may have to cough up a lot of cash for the 22-year-old Scotland international defender.
Back in July 2018, The Daily Record claimed that Aberdeen were demanding £10m for McKenna, with Swansea City reported to be interested in the youngster at the time.
McKenna has improved since then, and Aberdeen could demand as much, if not more, for the defender in the summer transfer window.
