Celtic striker Moussa Dembele has been linked with moves away from Celtic Park in the January transfer window.

Chris Sutton has suggested in The Daily Record that Moussa Dembele will leave Celtic in the January transfer window.

Dembele is one of the best young strikers in Europe and is arguably the best in his position at Celtic.

The 21-year-old France international striker has been linked with moves away from Celtic Park in the January transfer window.

According to The Daily Mail, Premier League club Brighton and Hove Albion are interested in the Frenchman and will make an offer of £18 million.

The Gambling Times has credited Everton, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur with interest in the former Fulham youngster.

Former Celtic striker Sutton has suggested that Dembele will leave the Glasgow giants in the January transfer window.

The former Chelsea striker has pointed out that the 21-year-old has been left out of the Hoops’ starting lineup by manager Brendan Rodgers at times this season.

Sutton, who now works as a pundit for BBC Sport and BT Sport, has also pointed out that at times fellow striker Odsonne Edouard has played instead of Dembele.

“My suspicion is he’s going to go when the window opens and Edouard coming in from nowhere is a way to prepare,” Sutton wrote about Dembele in The Daily Record.

“Brighton are definitely interested but there will be a few others and if the money is right there will only be one conclusion.”
