Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers are currently being managed by Graeme Murty following the departure of Pedro Caixinha from the Gers.

Rangers manager Graeme Murty is seen during the Scottish Cup Quarter final match between Rangers and Hamilton Academical at Ibrox Stadium on March 4, 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton has suggested to BT Sport that Rangers should not appoint Graeme Murty as the permanent manager.

Murty is in charge of Rangers at the moment, having been placed as the first-team manager on an interim basis following the dismissal of Pedro Caixinha.

Former Celtic striker Sutton does not believe that Murty should be given the managerial role at Ibrox on a permanent basis.

The former Chelsea striker has suggested that Rangers should appoint Alex McLeish if they are unable to get Derek McInnes from Aberdeen.
