Chris Sutton has been quoted as saying by The Brechin Advertiser that Celtic could suffer from complacency when they face Rangers this coming weekend.
Celtic will take on Old Firm rivals Rangers at Hampden Park in Glasgow in the semi-finals of the Scottish League Cup on Sunday afternoon.
Brendan Rodgers’s side will head into the match as favourites, as they have a better squad and a better team.
Former Celtic striker Sutton believes that the Bhoys are favourites for the match, but the Englishman has suggested that the Hoops could suffer from complacency.

“Celtic are the favourites but the problem they could have is complacency – but I don’t think that will be the case,” The Brechin Advertiser quotes Sutton as saying.
”I think it’s up to Rangers to respond and to respond strongly. They have players who on their day are match-winners and Celtic will be wary of that.”

Celtic hammered Rangers 5-1 at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership in September.
The Bhoys are unlikely to win by such a big margin on Sunday afternoon, as Mark Warburton’s side will have learnt from their mistakes and will be smarter this time around.
The Hoops are at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 22 points from eight matches, four points clear of second-placed Aberdeen with a game in hand.
Rangers are currently fourth in the standings with 15 points from nine games.
