Stuart Armstrong recently signed a new contract with Scottish Premiership giants Celtic.

Armstrong signed a new two-year contract with Celtic last week which will see him remain at the Glasgow giants until the summer of 2019.
The 25-year-old midfielder has been on the books of the Bhoys since February 2015 when he joined from Scottish Premiership rivals Dundee United.

The Scotland international played well last season, and helped Brendan Rodgers’s side win the Scottish Premiership, the Scottish League Cup and the Scottish Cup.
Before he signed the new deal, Armstrong was linked with moves away from Celtic Park in the summer transfer window, with West Bromwich Albion, Swansea City and Southampton reported to be interested in the 25-year-old by The Daily Mail.
Former Celtic striker Sutton has suggested that the Glasgow giants could sell Armstrong in the summer transfer window.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if Celtic sold Stuart Armstrong in January, but he needs to get back playing,” Sutton told BT Sport.

Meanwhile, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has urged the fans to chant the name of 26-year-old winger James Forrest during matches.
“When you play for a club this size you have to prove yourself all the time,” Rodgers told The Scottish Sun.
“Whether you are a player or a manager, it never changes. I just think we get players that are under-valued and underrated a wee bit.
“You look at James Forrest in our side. I know he is in the Scotland squad, but he’s a player who I haven’t heard a song for yet, you know.”
