Celtic edged out Dundee, while Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers beat Partick Thistle.

Chris Sutton has named two Celtic and two Rangers in his Scottish Premiership Team of the Week.
Celtic kicked off the weekend with a hard-fought 1-0 win at Dundee, in which Scott Brown was the unlikely hero as his 47th-minute winner proved enough.
Ranger, meanwhile, got their Premiership season back on track following what had been a very testing month of September for a number of reasons.

Mark Warburton’s side beat Partick Thistle 2-0 at Ibrox, with Andy Halliday and a fine goal from Niko Kranjcar doing the damage for the Gers.
Halliday has earned a spot in Sutton’s selections, as did Rangers left-back Lee Wallace, but the ex-Celtic striker left out Kranjcar in what seemed an odd move.

But Sutton dodged an explanation of his snub of the Croat with a trademark quip.
The omission is likely to insult many Rangers fans, or indeed Kranjcar himself.
The bottom line is that it was a fine goal by the 31-year-old, who offered a reminder about his undoubted quality after what’s been an inconsistent first few months as a Rangers player.
