Celtic’s recent performances have not been great.

Celtic Manager Neil Lennon reacts during the Betfred League Cup match between Celtic and Dunfermline Athletic at Celtic Park on August 17, 2019 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Chris Sutton has given his take on the the prospect of Celtic getting rid of Neil Lennon as their manager, as shown in the following post on Twitter.

Celtic have not been playing well in recent weeks, and one fan of the Glasgow giants said on BBC Radio 5 Live that he wants Lennon to leave now.

The fan urged the board of the Scottish Premiership club to dismiss Lennon right now.

The Hoops lost to CFR Cluj in the Champions League qualifiers last week, and at the weekend, they needed extra time to get the better of Dunfermline Athletic in the Scottish League Cup.

Former Celtic striker Sutton, who now works as a pundit for BBC Sport and BT Sport, does not think that the Bhoys should dismiss Lennon now.

Neil Lennon stay

True, Celtic have not been very convincing on occasions this season, and failing to progress to the group stage of the Champions League will have hurt, but Lennon remains the best manager for the Hoops and should be kept in the job.
