Chris Sutton has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Wolverhampton Wanderers’ win against Everton.

Wolves got the better of Everton 3-1 away from home at Goodison Park in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Ruben Neves, Raul Jimenez and Leander Dendoncker scored the goals for the Wanderers, while the Toffees found the net once through Barcelona-owned midfielder Andre Gomes.

Former Norwich City and Blackburn Rovers striker Sutton was following the match, and he has praised Wolves on Twitter for their performance against Everton – his summary of the game is spot-on.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon, hosts Everton had 64% of the possession, took 13 shots of which four were on target, and earned three corners, according to BBC Sport.

Visitors Wolves had 36% of the possession, took eight shots of which four were on target, and earned one corner, according to BBC Sport.

The result means that Everton are ninth in the Premier League table at the moment, while Wolves currently find themselves seventh in the standings.
