Chris Sutton has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the win for Rangers against East Fife, and he has mocked the Gers.

Rangers got the better of East Fife 3-0 away from home in the second round of the Scottish League Cup this afternoon.

Jermain Defoe, Filip Helander and Joe Aribo scored the goals fo Steven Gerrard’s side.

Former Celtic striker Sutton, who now works as a pundit for BBC Sport and BT Sport, has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the win for the Gers.

Sutton has trolled Rangers after the win, asking whether the Gers could finally land a major silverware this season.

Winning silverware

While Celtic have dominated the domestic arena in recent years, Rangers have been left behind.

However, this season could be massive for the Gers, as the Ibrox club have a very strong squad with competition fierce for places in the team.

Given how Rangers have started the season, the Ibrox faithful will be confident of the team winning a major trophy.
