Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Rangers manager Steven Gerrard’s post-match comments on the Ibrox club’s 2-1 win against St. Johnstone.
Rangers manager Steven Gerrard told BT Sport after the match that he was not happy with the way his players performed in the first half of the Scottish Premiership game on Sunday afternoon.
The Gers were 1-0 down at half time, but Alfredo Morelos scored twice in the second half to help the Ibrox club to all three points from the encounter.
Former Celtic striker Sutton has praised Gerrard on Twitter for his assessment of Rangers’ win and has hailed Colombia international striker Morelos.

Over the course of the 90 minutes on Sunday afternoon, visitors Rangers had 62% of the possession, took 14 shots of which five were on target, and earned three corners, according to BBC Sport.
The win against St. Johnstone means that Rangers are now second in the Scottish Premiership table with 38 points from 19 matches, just a point behind leaders and Old Firm rivals Celtic, who have played 18 games.
