Glasgow Rangers picked up an emphatic win at Ibrox, but failed to close the gap at the top of the Scottish Premiership.

Chris Sutton has suggested that Rangers will have the sick buckets out after they ended the evening still eight points adrift of the Scottish Premiership summit having seemingly been on the verge of closing the gap by two.
Steven Gerrard’s men secured an emphatic 4-0 win against Dundee at Ibrox. Glen Kamara scored four minutes into the game against his former club, while James Tavernier and Alfredo Morelos gave the Gers a 3-0 lead at the break.
The exclamation point came in the 89th minute as Jermain Defoe came off the bench to make it 14 goals in Rangers’s last three games in all competitions following back-to-back 5-0 wins last week.
And it appeared that Gerrard’s men would end the night six points off top spot as Celtic looked to be on the verge of drawing their first game under Neil Lennon.

James Forrest had given the Hoops the lead during the first-half, but Oliver Bozanic equalised for Hearts 11 minutes after the break.
And despite the home side being down to 10 men following Jamie Brandon’s red card shortly before the interval, Celtic looked set to endure a frustration night as stoppage-time arrived with the game still level.
However, Odsonne Edouard’s volley ensured that Lennon’s tenure got off to a win at the same ground where Brendan Rodgers’s Premiership career also began with a victory.
