Former Norwich City striker Chris Sutton comments on Paul Hurst’s departure as the Ipswich Town manager.

Former Norwich City striker Chris Sutton has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Ipswich Town parting company with Paul Hurst.

Ipswich are on the hunt for a new manager following the recent departure of Hurst, as announced on the Tractor Boys’ official Twitter page.

The 44-year-old was appointed in the role at the Championship club in May and was a permanent successor to Mick McCarthy.

McCarthy parted company with Ipswich in April 2018 after being in charge of the side since November 2012.

Former Norwich striker Sutton has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Ipswich’s decision to part company with Hurst.

Championship struggles

Ipswich are struggling at the moment and are in real danger of getting relegated to League One at the end of the season.

The Tractor Boys are at the foot of the Championship table with nine points from 14 matches, just four points behind 21st-placed Rotherham United.

Ipswich will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Millwall away from home in the Championship.
