Josh Windass has left Ibrox club and Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers for Wigan Athletic.
Josh Windass at Rangers
Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Josh Windass leaving Rangers for Wigan Athletic.
As announced on Wigan’s official website, the Latics have signed Windass from Rangers on a three-year contract in the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old midfielder joined Rangers in the summer of 2016 and played well for the Ibrox club during the past two seasons.
As stated on Wigan’s official website, the Englishman scored 18 goals in 41 matches in all competitions for Rangers last season.
Former Celtic striker Sutton has given his take on Windass leaving Rangers on Twitter, suggesting that the Gers could have made a mistake in selling the former Accrington Stanley star.

Mistake from Rangers?
Windass has issues with lack of consistency, but there is no doubt that he is a very good midfielder.
Rangers would have been a better team this season with Windass in it, but Ibrox manager Steven Gerrard must be confident that the Gers can cope without the 24-year-old midfielder and can be successful without him in the squad.
