As announced on Celtic’s official website around an hour ago, Forrest has put pen to paper on a new contract with the Glasgow giants.
The 27-year-old winger has signed a new four-year contract with the Hoops that will see him remain at Celtic Park until the summer of 2022 at least.
Former Celtic striker Sutton has given his verdict on Twitter on the Scottish Premiership side tying down the Scotland international winger to a new long-term deal.

Forrest is a very talented and promising player who has established himself as an important player in manager Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic team.
The 27-year-old winger has been at Celtic since he was nine years of age, and has won the Scottish Premiership title seven times, the Scottish Cup on four occasions, and the Scottish League Cup thrice.
