Pundit Chris Sutton has taken to Twitter to react to Celtic’s line-up against Rangers this afternoon, admitting his surprise that Oliver Burke isn’t starting.

Domestic football has returned this weekend following the international break, and few games this weekend come close to the Old Firm derby.

Celtic head into the game knowing a win will all but hand them the Scottish Premiership title, whilst Rangers can make it two wins in a row over the Bhoys.

The game also sees Neil Lennon take charge of a first Old Firm derby since returning as interim manager, after replacing Brendan Rodgers back in February.

Lennon has named an intriguing side today, with Kieran Tierney passed fit at left back, Olivier Ntcham brought into the side in midfield, and Jonny Hayes handed a start on the left flank.

However, Oliver Burke has been left out of the starting line-up and is only on the bench, alongside returning playmaker Tom Rogic.

Pundit and former Celtic ace Chris Sutton has taken to Twitter to react to the line-up, admitting his surprise that Burke has been left on the bench by Lennon.

Sutton also pointed out that Rodgers’ January loan signings – Burke, Jeremy Toljan and Timothy Weah – are all on the bench, but he does feel that Celtic have strong substitutes to pick from today.
