Celtic have maintained their good run of form in the Scottish Premiership with a comfortable 3-0 win against Dundee at home.

Michael Johnston scored twice for the Hoops, first in the 43rd minute and then on 50 minutes.

Filip Benkovic, signed on loan from Premier League club Leicester City in the summer transfer window, added a third for Brendan Rodgers’s side on 69 minutes.

Sutton has praised the fringe players in the Celtic squad for making a difference, and has asked whether Johnston is the new Ryan Christie.

Christie has been playing well for Celtic in recent weeks, and the 23-year-old Scotland international midfielder has established himself as an important player in Brendan Rodgers’ team.

Johnston, who is just 19 years of age, was brilliant playing as a lone striker against Dundee.
