Celtic lost to Salzburg tonight, despite taking a 1-0 lead at the break.

Celtic surrendered a 1-0 half-time lead in tonight’s 3-1 defeat by Salzburg in the Europa League.
Odsonne Edouard had fired the Hoops ahead after just two minutes, but Munas Dabbur equalised for the Austrian hosts within 10 minutes of the second half.
Takumi Minamino put Salzburg ahead six minutes later, before a second from Dabbur from the penalty spot was enough to down Celtic, who won their opener two weeks ago.
It’s a disappointing result for Brendan Rodgers’s side, given they had taken the lead, and here’s how Chris Sutton reacted to the defeat on Twitter:
Rodgers started with two strikers in the form of Edouard and Leigh Griffiths, but they did not look all that effective.
Prior to his departure, Moussa Dembele and Edouard looked like a brilliant partnership up front for Celtic, but time will tell whether Griffiths can establish the same understanding with the £9 million record signing from Paris Saint-Germain.
