Chris Sutton has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Brendan Rodgers’s explanation for leaving Celtic for Leicester City.

Earlier this week, Rodgers decided to leave his role as the Celtic manager to take the managerial role at Leicester.

The former Liverpool boss had been the manager of Celtic since the summer of 2016, and guided the Glasgow giants to two successive domestic doubles.

Celtic have already won the Scottish League Cup this season, and the Hoops could well end up winning the Scottish Cup and the Scottish Premiership title as well.

Rodgers has explained his decision to leave the Hoops for Leicester, but former Celtic striker Sutton is not convinced, and he has also mocked the idea that the Foxes are a bigger club than the Hoops.

Celtic are eight points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the moment, while Leicester are currently 11th in the Premier League standings and have pretty much nothing play between now and the end of the season.
